sordiddetailsAntheans are highly social beings that thrive on contact and close knit groups. Here, while she had her family there weren't enough Antheans here to fulfill the social needs of her species. So she started reaching out to others. Others in this case being transforming, sentient, mechanical... not robots but close enough.
It wasn't much to prepare for them to come. Due to their size they brought a few chairs out of the house. Tom and Aletayria's house was small, even by human standards. The greenhouse attached to it was probably bigger than the living space. And there were cats, a large number of them, all excited about the hubbub and the fact they could read from their alien companions that wanted visitors were coming. Some of the cats had wings, others were oddly colored... one was a raccoon, a part of the family due to a mistaken identity.
Tommy of course stayed inside reading and disinterested in everything though she assumed when their giant guests came they might get his attention. She and Tom had gone out on the porch to sit and sip tea while they waited. It would be good to have company even if they might not fit in the house.

Apparently they are playing dress-up for now, and that's fun--he tosses LB one of her favourite tiaras and she catches it easily with a snap of her head.
He drinks some fizzed energon. Everything about this is nice. He rarely gets to see Soundwave open to the world and enjoying himself outside of their well-shielded bedroom. Even at Ziggy's concert, he didn't dare to uncover his sensory crest (which was probably all for the best) and seeing it exposed in front of others feels almost a little risque; when their relationship was more open, Soundwave was known to release his spike before he would even think of removing his helm. But that was a matter of trust, not sexual intimacy.
{You know, Aletayria, you're now one of the privileged few who knows exactly how pretty my husband is,} he thinks with deep amusement.
But then again, anyone who doesn't think that Soundwave can be cheeky hasn't noticed that the button to open his interface panel is clearly labelled "PLAY".
